Laurie Robusto has been with the School of Nursing at Cuyahoga Valley Career Center since 2003, when the first Part-Time Nursing program began. She became a full-time staff member in 2004.
Ms. Robusto graduated from Lorain County Community College with a Certificate in Practical Nursing in 1983, an Associate Degree in Nursing from The Regents College of the University of New York (now Excelsior) in 1989, a Bachelors Degree in Nursing from Ashland University in 2001 and is currently completing her Masters Degree in Nursing with an emphasis in nursing education through St. Joseph College in Maine’s on-line program. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society of Nursing.
Ms. Robusto has worked in a variety of hemodialyis programs, at the main campus of the Cleveland Clinic in postoperative cardiac surgery and transplant, and at Lutheran Hospital on the medical-surgical and psychiatric floors. Her special interests are reading, computers, Metroparks programs and enjoying time with her children and grandchildren.
